How to: Flawless Sew Ins in Houston

How to: Flawless Sew Ins in Houston

Its one thing to have flawless virgin hair, but its another to have a flawless installed look!
Most women, unknowingly purchase hair, wigs, pieces from companies like ourselves, see the hair on the woman thats modeling (for example) a lace frontal piece. They receive the hair in the mail, get it installed only to find out it looks nothing like what the girls did on the companies website.
This is for all misinformed consumers. Companies spend a dedicated amount of time and hire the top stylist to display their products properly. So note that, before installing the product (closure frontal 360 frontal etc) onto your head a great deal of customizations must take place. this is where the hairline etc will be mimicked to look like your own and very natural. this practice requires skill, time, patience, and knowledge. For it to be done properly we always recommend using a stylist with EXPERIENCE. Licensed doesn’t necessarily mean experienced. Learn the difference before getting your hair pieces install and not achieving the look you desire.
Keys to a flawless look is:

  1. Quality products. Firstly, once you come up with an ideal hairstyle its important to research and find companies thats selling Top quality product!. Theres a different between a $30 closure and a $150 closure!!! Not just how it looks but also the durability, and longevity of the piece. No point in spending $30 for a closure and you have to buy one each time you get your hair redone.
  2. An experienced hair technician. Secondly, you can have the highest quality products known to woman, if your hairstylist does’nt know how to install them properly, you WILL NOT get the look you desire. Both comes hand in hand. Quality products and a quality stylist. Remember, cheaper is not always better. We would’nt recommend buying $500 hair, and paying $60 to get it installed. When having hair installed its more than just sewing hair in. This is a great misconception. The hair stylist must be experience. Knowing how to properly lay the tracks, how to sew in the tracks to prevent shedding, etc. its an in-depth technique that everyone just doesn’t know and don’t practice. When you see a stylist charging $50 for an install and another stylist charging $250, theres a reason why. When consulting with a hairstylist these are valid questions that should be discussed to insure longevity of your hair extensions, wigs, pieces etc.
    1. How will my tracks be installed?
    2. Do you sew through the wefts, or around the weft?
    3. With my frontal, how will you insure i get the most natural look possible?
      1. Are the knots bleached?
      2. Do you pluck the hairline?
      3. Will my lace be tinted?
    4. What products will you use when cleaning my hair extensions?

Keep these key points in mind on your journey to Flawless hair!
